The Hanseatic city of Lüneburg is a large medium-sized town in the northeast of Lower Saxony and only approx. 25km from Barum. You can reach Lüneburg in about 30 minutes by car directly on the B4. You can also easily reach the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg by bike from Bad Bevensen along the Elbe side canal without inclines.
The city on the Ilmenau is about 50 kilometers southeast of Hamburg on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath and belongs to the Hamburg metropolitan region.
